    good weight so i dont think its cheaply made. so far can microwave without lid on. wish there were chop stick holders on lid though

    Nice weight. I like that fact that it is microwaveable to be able to warm the bowl up before you put something in it. I have not actually microwaved any food in it, so I am not sure how "long" you can microwave this bowl. I like the experience of having this bowl with a lid, it makes it seem more special when you remove the lid and there are your warm noodles or ramen or whatever you choose to eat. It may seem small but it actually holds quite a bit. (25oz). I imagine if you like cold asian noodles, you can put the bowl in the fridge and then serve your cold noodles inside. Its nice to have something stay cold longer than a typical thin bowl. It does make the eating experience seem a little more special.

    This bowl is very pretty and functional.
    It is made a quality materials.
    It has a snug top that can be used for a side of veggies, rice or fruit.
    I got it to eat my favorite dish … Curried Chicken w/ Singapore noodles. I used it tonight for Broccoli Soup.
    I plan to order additional bowls until I have a set of 8.
    I recommend it.
