Details: This product is intended to provide you with a convenient way to mount the optic / red dot sight of your choice on a 12 Gauge pump action Remington 870. It is also equipped with a removable side-saddle shell carrier. Installation instructions: 1. Remove the two fasteners from the accessory using the provided allen Key. 2. Make sure your Remington 870 is unloaded, then proceed to remove the trigger assembly retention pins using a pointed tool such as a small screwdriver, awl, or a pin punch. 3. Slide the accessory over the receiver and line up the holes on the mount and the receiver. 4. Carefully insert the two provided fasteners through the holes. The screws should be installed without using excessive force, if you encounter resistance hold the trigger assembly in the correct position as it may shift after the removal of the pins. After the screws have been inserted tighten them using the provided allen key until snug. 5. Perform a basic function test with your unloaded Remington 870 to make sure it functions properly after assembly.
